Michelle and Sean have had a pretty exciting year. Sabrina started high school, Sean L. started jr high,and Stockton and Seth are still in elementary. Seth was baptized in October and Sabrina has had some pretty exciting opportunities with her singing, SeanL., Stockton and Seth are shooting baskets and kicking goals.Daddy Sean is taking time from his coaching to deliver a few hundred babies.It is hard enough for us to keep track of things can you imagine being Michelle.

  

Cristen and John have finished another house redo. Cristen is now organized and John is growing his law firm. They love spending time at their cabin. Josh started high school, Sam started jr high, and Brooke first grade. Joe and Luke are at the same school as last year. Luke was also baptized this year.Brooke is flipping into gymnastics, Josh is shooting baskets for Skyline; Sam, Luke and Joe are kicking and dribbling balls al over town. The list of activities could fill the page so needless to say Cristen and John are always on the go.  Michael and Jessie sold their house in a flash and had to move out. Luckily they found a place in Traverse Ridge until their house is finished. Jessie is having great fun with all the decisions on the house while MIchael is still treating athletes from team players to week-end warriors. The kids are going to the same school. Cooper has started kindergarten and loves it, and little Quincy is the star of the show in pre-school. Hans is playing  for American Heritage;

Cate, Carsyn are dominating the soccer field; Jocelyn loves to sing and Quincy tells great stories. Cooper is doing super tricks in jumping. The drives to school and work are much shorter now which is a help to all.

  Cami and Andy seem to win the prize for the most stable family this year. All their kids are in the same school, they live in the same house, and Andy has the same job. Addison is going to kindergarten, actually, I think she is teaching kindergarten J.  McKenna and Samantha keep Cami company at home, and Andy is close to finishing his degree. Drew is loyal to soccer; Brady is a football star; Addison is the next Mia Hamm, and McKenna is a budding star and Samantha finds the sidelines can be fun too.

  Marisa and Jason win the “biggest change” award. They were married in July. We are very excited to have Jason and his two children a part of our family. Marisa is learning to be a wife and mother all at the same time, but she is doing a great job. 

  Jason is back working for US Bank and loves his job. Many projects at home have kept them busy. Berkley has started kindergarten and thinks it’s great. Enzo is pretty laid back about school. He’s  apretty cool dude. They love being a family!

Candace and Ryan have returned home from Notre Dame where Ryan completed his Sports med. Fellowship. We are glad to have them home…literally. They are living in our house while we are gone. Jack and Macie have loved their new school, and Candace is wondering where Payton came from! They love being back and being near family. Jack is liking competitive soccer and Jr Jazz and Macie is still a tumbling wonder in the gym. Candace and Ryan are now landowners in Highland. We are excited for them to live nearby.

 Melanie and Reno have had so many different plans. It has been hard to keep up, but they have finally ended up in Irvine California. Marli has started kindergarten. Laney and Sloane keep Melanie hopping at home while Reno is lighting up the world with solar.

They all love going to the pool often, playing tennis and of course being close to Disneyland. They love being in California, but miss being near family. Utah isn’t that far away so they can make a trip now and then.

  Cory and Lyndsey have moved to Glendale, Arizona. Cory was accepted at a few schools for their masters programs, but he chose Midwestern. It has worked out very well. 

Little Rowen loves to swim. She has a ready smile for her Mimi and Papa. Cory has done very well and Lyndsey has been a great support while Cory has spent many hours studying.  It has been fun for them to be near some old friends and Marisa and Jason.

  Mike and Cindy- It seems like this has been a big year for changes in our family. They all have been good. We are sad to see the children move away, but it is exciting to see them progress and advance in their lives. We cherish the times when we are together. As most of you know we are serving a mission for our church in Ghana Africa in a city called Ho (Ho Ho Ho- we’ve been waiting for December to come to do that). I guess you might say that is a huge change for us! Before we left we had a wonderful family reunion. It was so much fun being together. It is hard to describe how wonderful it was to enjoy one anothers’ company before we were scattered to all corners of the world. Marisa’s wedding was small, but beautiful. We are so happy to have added such a wonderful new son-in-law and 2 beautiful grandchildren.

   Our experience in Ghana has been amazing inspite of missing our family terribly, but we feel their love and support and prayers. We are so grateful as well to all you wonderful friends who are so thoughtful and are enjoying our experiences right along with us. We miss all the sights, sounds and smells J of Christmas—the snow, the decorations, the hustle and bustle, the food, the sight of children opening their presents, children performing the nativity play. Christmas here is very different. There are very few if any decorations, lights or Christmas trees, and very few presents. We have downloaded some Christmas Carols which bring a touch of Christmas joy into our home.  But inspite of all the differences, we have and will continue to love serving our Savior and hopefully help bring Eternal happiness to His children here in Ghana.  There can be no greater gift. We hope and pray that among all the celebrations and presents, that you remember the baby born in Bethlehem.
